About
Timothy G. Hiesterman, D.O., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon fellowship-trained in orthopedic trauma. He is proud to care for emergency patients at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and see follow-up patients at Southern Oregon Orthopedics.
Dr. Hiesterman completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and chemistry from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale. Dr. Hiesterman continued on to a traditional rotating internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Kettering Health Dayton/Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He committed to additional training by undergoing an orthopedic trauma fellowship at Regions Hospital/University of Minnesota in St. Paul.
Dr. Hiesterman brings extensive expertise in musculoskeletal injuries, complex fracture care, and joint replacement surgery to Southern Oregon Orthopedics. With a focus on accuracy and minimally invasive care, his approach supports quicker recovery times and optimal results for every patient. Dr. Hiesterman emphasizes a holistic, patient-centered philosophy and is committed to delivering the highest quality of orthopedic care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Dr. Hiesterman is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Osteopathic Association, AO Trauma North America, and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.
