About
Paul L. Sternenberg, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist surgery. With over 20 years of experience as a hand and upper extremity surgeon, he provides care to patients at Southern Oregon Orthopedics in Medford, Oregon.
He received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Afterward, Dr. Sternenberg completed his residency and internship at Boston University Medical Center.
Dr. Sternenberg treats Dupuytren’s contracture with XIAFLEX®, along with a variety of other treatments and surgeries. He is fascinated with the beautiful, intrinsic design and function of the human hand. He enjoys how his patients appreciate the careful work he puts into making them better.
He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and holds a certificate of additional qualifications in surgery of the hand. Dr. Sternenberg is also a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Oregon Medical Association, and Jackson County Medical Society.
Outside of work, Dr. Sternberg loves to golf and spend time with his family.
