Keng was born and raised in Wisconsin. He started his career as a Strength and Conditioning over a decade ago. He is currently an active Strength and Conditioning Coach with a specialty in resistance training, injury risk reduction, and weight loss. He currently works with the general population, athletes, and our military special forces. He is also in the Army National Guard and has spent the first 9 years of his career as a Combat Medic with tours to Afghanistan working alongside our elite Green Berets. He has transitioned from his role as a Sergeant to a Medical Officer with the Army National Guard. He continues to serve his community and country because the Army has provided him with “appreciation through perspective.” Prior to and during PA school, Keng also worked as a Registered Nurse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the specialty of Orthopedic Trauma and Spine Surgery. This has allowed him to have a greater appreciation of the medical team and system as a whole.
Outside of work, Keng enjoys spending time with his English Bulldog, named Lily. Keng has also sold several drawings and paintings and continues to work on his artwork when he has time. He also remains steadfast in keeping up to date with the latest research in exercise science and orthopedic sports medicine. He is looking forward to serving the patients in Southern Oregon.
