Heidi T. Bloom, MD, is a board-certified, fellow-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist surgery. Dr. Bloom provides care to patients in Medford and Grants Pass, Oregon, at Southern Oregon Orthopedics.

In 1991, Dr. Bloom completed her Bachelor of Science in applied physiology, graduating summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles. She earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed both her residency and internship at the Stanford School of Medicine. Her fellowship training in hand surgery was completed at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Dr. Bloom is a member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. As a leader in her field, she has also co-authored several articles and book chapters for notable publications.

When not at work, Dr. Bloom enjoys riding her horse, walking her mini-Aussies, gardening, and bird watching.
