Wisconsin homegrown and Oregon built over the past nine years, I have been a PTA for almost ten years in orthopedics/sports medicine, intermittently serving as a strength coach and personal trainer. While growing as a PTA, I have obtained a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and most recently a Master of Science in Exercise Science with a sports conditioning emphasis from A.T. Still University. Sustaining a football injury semi-professionally brought me to self-realization in understanding the power of physical therapy, ultimately resulting in an occupational shift. Suffering a prior football injury in high school did not carry the same effect, as my buy-in and self-accountability were not present. My passion for PT awoke nearing the end of my second tenure as I adopted a contrasting mindset, yearning to return to the field. Health and exercise have been paramount in my personal journey and an integral piece of the puzzle in the continued pursuit of empowering others. In addition to constantly striving for self-growth, a few of my pastimes include devising and executing self-training programs, disappearing in the mountains, traveling, attempting to play golf, and as a prestigious “cheesehead; cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
