About
Dr. Bryan Mark is a surgeon specializing in sports medicine, providing comprehensive care for athletes and active individuals of all ages. He has advanced expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries, including shoulder, knee, hip, and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Mark served as the Sports Medicine Medical Director at Montana Orthopedics–Intermountain Health in Butte, Montana. He is dedicated to caring for athletes throughout the community and serves as team physician for Montana Tech University, Western University, Butte High School, Butte Central High School, and Boulder High School.
Dr. Mark earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he developed a strong foundation in orthopedic research and patient care. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. He then completed an advanced fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), one of the nation’s leading sports medicine programs.
Throughout his training, Dr. Mark was actively involved in orthopedic research, contributing to projects focused on improving musculoskeletal care and outcomes. His research experience includes work with the University of California, Irvine Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and the University of Colorado Sleep and Chronobiology Laboratory. His work has been presented and published in peer-reviewed medical literature.
Dr. Mark graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology before earning his medical degree. He has been recognized throughout his academic career with multiple honors, including graduation with distinction and repeated placement on the Academic Dean’s List.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Mark enjoys working with athletes, supporting the local community, and helping patients return to the activities they love. His approach combines advanced surgical techniques, evidence-based medicine, and a commitment to personalized care for every patient.
