Physician Assistants
Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners - Partners
in your care
Many orthopedic problems are managed by Physician Assistants. Our
P.A.s are certified by the National Commission on Certification
of Physician Assistants and are licensed professionals in the state
of Oregon with prescribing privileges. Our P.A. s meet stringent
continuing medical education requirements including recertification
by examination every six years.
They work as a team with the supervising physician to review your
condition, prepare alternative care options, participate in your
surgical care and provide post-operative follow-up care. In essence
our P.A.s provide an excellent extension of the orthopedic surgeon.
All our P.A.s have been credentialed by and have privileges in the
two area hospitals and the Surgery Center of Southern Oregon.
