Southern Oregon Orthopedics is a study site for a clinical study evaluating the safety and efficacy of a total disc replacement device (XL TDR).
This device seeks to relieve pain while restoring height and maintaining motion at the spinal segment. Mark Peterson, MD is the Clinical Investigator for this study. We are pleased to announce that Richard Owens, Jr., MD has joined the practice.
Dr. Owens is a foot and ankle surgeon and recently completed a foot and ankle surgery fellowship program at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. His practice is focused on the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle disorders.
Dr. Owens completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Cincinatti in Cincinatti, Ohio.
