Southern Oregon Orthopedics announces the addition of a new state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging technology to the practice.

The new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system features contemporary technology for imaging the musculoskeletal system.

The unit is a 1.5T strength magnet and features High Density imaging similar to that found in the new generation of Televisions. This feature will allow us to get finer images of joints and scan in a shorter amount of time reducing the discomfort to the patient.

Now, Southern Oregon Orthopedics’ emphasis on providing outstanding patient care is further realized by offering advanced MRI technology. Orthopedic patients in Southern Oregon can experience the application of technology specific to the patient’s orthopedic issues in a patient-friendly setting.

“Our goal is to treat patients quickly and efficiently in an office-based environment,” said Gary Sherwood, administrator, Southern Oregon Orthopedics.

This technology allows us to accelerate diagnosis and treatment of patients while at the same time enabling our physicians to spearhead the entire patient care delivery process

The unit will be located on the first floor of our new building.
